Green Team

The Green Team is a club for primary aged children who are keen to learn more about nature and the environment.  We do this through exploration, hands-on activities and games.

Green Team is run by National Trust for Scotland rangers and volunteers from Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve. We meet in Killin every fortnight in the summer, on Thursdays from 6-7.30pm, and once a month in winter, on Saturday mornings from 10.30-12.00.  Programmes are displayed at the NTS Ranger Base on Killin Main Street and Killin Primary School and are also available via Crianlarich and Kenmore primary schools.

Most of our sessions take place outside and within walking distance our wildlife garden, so suitable clothing and footwear is a must. Sometimes we go further afield, often to Ben Lawers, but we also go on trips to other interesting places. In bad weather some of our activities take place inside at the Trust’s Ranger Base.

If you would like to find out more check out Green Team website, contact the National Trust for Scotland by email, by phoning 01567 820988 or ask your school for details.
