Hello, i’m finding it quite difficult to find public transport to get to killin from manchester, i’ve checked stagecoach, national express, trains etc… I’m thinking of coming up on the first weekend of october.

The closest i can seem to get to is dundee or stirling, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers. Lewis MacNab ( now you know why i’m coming up :))

Also, i’d prefer to come up on a coach as i can’t really afford a £300 train ticket.

Have a look at Bus Timetable

There are 4 buses per day from Stirling to Killin.

Don’t know why you think the train is so expensive. You can buy a single from Manchester to Stirling for £12. (See http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/pj/fa) and then buy another one to get back. Don’t buy a return it is expensive (£75 but not £300, £277 for first class).

And the site: Traveline even tells you how to walk from opposite Lix Toll to Lix Toll garage to change buses – awesome, lol.
