Hi, I wonder if any one can help with some info. I will be in the area during the summer camping with my scout troop and wonder if there is somewhere i can use for internet access to update our web site during the visit. I could not find an info other than hotels and we will not be staying in as we are camping. Any info much appreciated.

    Hi Simon

There is internet access available in the local Library, I think it’s still available FOC but may be wrong. If they have started to charge I wouldn’t think it’ll cost that much compared to the cafes in the cities. Telephone 01567 820571, e-mail killinlibrary@stirling.gov.uk.

There is a BT Openzone hotspot in the village, I am told it is situated around the telephone box outside Shutters restaurant but may be wrong as I’ve seen on their site and elsewhere that it’s located more towards the bottom of the village, around the Paper Shop/Post Office area, maybe someone can clarify?

There was a computer ‘drop in’ running in the McLaren Hall on Thursdays that Julie Rhys was running which provided another access point. Have they stopped and moved to the library now?

    Hope this helps.
