Would anyone be researching a Janet McNaughton born about 1755 at Killin. Other names that might tie to her area Malcolm and John McNaughton. Thanks. Annie in Ontario:bear_no:

I am following Janet McNaughton (b. 1784), wife of Donald McArthur, Daughter of John McNtn (b.1773), s/o Malcolm McNaighton and Jean Campbell, Her brother was Donald McNaughton, minister at Killin…McArthurs lived at Acharn, near Remony…Could she be a sister to Malcolm??

It could be that she is a sister to Malcolm. Did any of your tree come to New York or Ontario? Annie.

Yes, Ontario. John (b.1773) and wife, Janet Cameron, (m. 1803) and children came to Ontario abt 1815, settled in Glengarry Co., near Dunvegan, buried in Kenyon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
