Saddened to learn of Korky’s passing. Condolences extended to Helen, Rhona, Duncan, Sheena, Roy, Alistair and all the Macgregor Clan. A fine man fondly remembered.

Another great character has departed the village some would say the crack will not be the same again sorry to see Korky has departed he always told me when we had a drink with him and my father in law Fred McMillan Dochart Road that this is where his nickname Korky came from when he worked with Fred he was always reading the Dandy Comic hence the name from ‘KORKY THE CAT’ he will be sadly missed and our thought go out to his family

Well its a strange feeling in this part of Ballechroisk now without Gordon, the door if the shed is no longer open..Over the last years i became so used to a shout or a wave from the door as i passed by. Someone said to me the other day how strange it was not to see the wave from the window as he passed by on the old railway line whilst walking the dog..
“Aye” you dont miss something till its gone!! A born and breed local full of intresting story,s from the past,, i only wish i had them on video.

a great lad and sorely missed…a member of the rat pack who goes back many many years in Killin..I REMEMBER HIS NAME ONLY BUT HIS FATHER USED TO DRIVE THE SCHOOL BUS (HAMISH?) AND TAKE ME BACK AND FORWARD TO SCHOOL ALONG THE LOCH SIDE..the originals are slowly going to their makers but will be etched in my mind for ever..a wonderful place Killin and I’m sure you are still producing your characters!! regards, ZORO
