    From the Guestbook –

    524 Brian Allan Sunday, December 23 2007
    Melbourne, Australia
The torrents of the Dochart as it thunders on its way,
Through the village of Killin all the way to Loch Tay,
The splendor of the mountains sitting high oversee,
The village of Killin, always home to me.

Twenty seven years have past and ne’er a day goes bye
When pictures of Killin form in my minds eye,
The peaceful way of village life and memories of the past,
A stroll down the Main Street, these pictures always vast.

Whether skies are blue or grey, sunny or with rain
Killin’s always dear to me, my memories remain,
Summertime’s in the river, winters in the snow,
The arch bridge on entry, the salmon leap below.

In the Autumn of my life my memories are still,
Carrying me home to this village, I know they always will,
No words can ever express what Killin means to me,
And until my dying breath that’s the way it shall be.

The torrents of the Dochart as it thunders on its way,
Through the village of Killin all the way to Loch Tay,
The splendor of the mountains sitting high oversee,
The village of Killin, always home to me.
