It was good to see our vibrant local community totally filling the Killin Hotel last night at the end of the fund raising Safari Supper; I believe they nearly ran out of coffee cups, lol.
Well done to Elizabeth and Marion for their organization, I hope we raised lots of dosh for the McClaren Hall. Nice to see Ian and Gregor doing their thing for KWS, I am sure it is much appreciated by both the local yocals and friends in far flung distant places, keep up the good work guys. I am just not too sure about seeing our ugly mugs on the web site in the near future.
:partyon2: Hug me a tree I’m off to find the big bad wolf.

    Photos have been uploaded.

If anybody has more we can add to the album please send them along! E-Mail webmaster@killin.info. I’m concious that there are many photos with either Euan or myself in them. Its hard to be out on a night like last night and not get any photos of Euan and myself. The more people send in photos, the less effect it has on the album.

Before I say anything out of turn could someone tell me who it is that the McLaren Hall is?

Do you all have to be this careful? Or am I just overreacting to my welcome?

The McLaren Hall is the big village Hall at the foot of the village. You may have noticed it when traveling through our (IYHO) “unvibrant, unresponsive and unthoughtful” village.

To the first part, no, post whatever your opinion is so long as you accept that I, and others, will reply with an opinion. Welcome to the Killin Web Site. If you’d rather be on a ‘Dolan’s Gospel’ site, go elsewhere.

Second part, don’t really understand your question, you can overreact to your welcome all you want.

Are you just annoyed that someone who disagrees with you actually stood up and said something about it? Are you used to being right and getting your own way all the time?

I’d disagree with your past comments whether I run this site or not. If you’re not happy that I disagree with you, tough.

    And PS,

Have you noticed how good the webcam image has been lately? Well done for making it better Big G, and sorting the problem you had before…

I am quite flabergasted that someone who has been here for such a long time and makes what they think, no doubt are humorous comments (but which are quite rude) about our village does not even know what the McClaren Hall is. But that goes with the stupid comment about the webcam using global resources when they themselves use such a lot they need a 3 phase supply. Get a life Dolan.

I reaally shouldn’t try winding webmasters up when I’ve had too much to drink!
My apologies to any and all I have in any way offended.
    A very contrite
